Frequently asked questions

Everything asked about pricing, security, and how filing works, in one place.

How much does Refunzo cost? + −

Reconciliation is free for the life of your account. Filing claims for you costs 15% of what Amazon pays out, capped at $5,000 per account.

What counts toward the $5,000 cap? + −

The cap applies per account, across every case we file for you. Not per case, not per year.

Do I need to give Refunzo my Seller Central login? + −

No. You connect through Amazon's own authorization flow and grant specific data scopes. We never ask for or store your password.

How far back can a claim reach? + −

Most discrepancy types carry roughly a 60-day claim window from the point Amazon should have acted. Older issues are usually already outside what Amazon will pay.

How is this different from Amazon's own automatic reimbursements? + −

Amazon's automation catches the simple, high-volume cases. It misses the ones that need a person to build the evidence, which is most of what we find.

What if I only want the free reconciliation? + −

Run it, keep the report, and file every case yourself at no cost. Nothing here requires paying us anything.

Is the reconciliation report really free forever? + −

Yes. Connecting your account, running the 21 checkpoints, and rescanning at any time costs nothing, with no card required and no expiry.

Can I do some cases myself and hand others to Refunzo? + −

Yes. The DIY and managed paths run on the same report. File what you want yourself and send the rest to us.

Is there a minimum recovered amount to use the managed service? + −

No minimum, but below roughly $2,000 a year the commission usually isn't worth it compared with filing yourself.

What happens if Amazon changes its reimbursement policy again? + −

Refunzo updates the checkpoints and this site to reflect current policy. The policy reference page tracks the most recent changes with a visible last-updated date.
